 LabStar Winter 2014 upgrades and enhancements

Time & Date

  • Labs set their own time zone
  • Labs choose time format (12-hour or 24-hour)
  • Labs select date format (month-day-year, day-month-year, year-month-day)

Production

  • Batch barcoding
  • Reschedule production tasks
  • New change due date design
  • Production dashboard now links directly to task deadline report, technician productivity report

Accounting

  • New QuickBooks online synchronization
  • Real-time update for client balances page
  • Improved management of client custom prices

 Reports

  • Monthly client invoice reporting (fixed vs. removable)
  • Invoices by Client
  • Products by Client

Supply Chain/Miscellaneous

  • Simplified shipment number format
  • View summary of all logins now includes user IP address  (Settings > Profiles > Permissions > View login activity)
  • Over a dozen small navigation improvements
  • Completed transition to new settings—easier and faster navigation of backend settings
